You are the Light

You are the light you are the light
without you all is night
shadows feed
on the sorrow I grieve
without you shining
a path with me

When you’re gone
I struggle to breathe
the air is dark
and so heavy
without your light
to shine with me

I’m just a reflection of
the light you cast
as you make every day
better than the last

Guide with me as a promised hand
I’ll never lose hold

You are you are the light
without you all is night
shadows feed
on the sorrow I grieve
without you shining
a path with me

Diffration is lenticularly
unavoidably passing
every day scatters photonics
sooner or later we gather to find
the light we cast as one is
even brighter
than the sun shines

From the brightest intensity
lux ever varying
still this moth is drawn to your light
ever lumosity through opacity
transparency and transluency

I’m concrete manifest when
your radiance is bestown
incandescence of a lanterns dance
shadows sway in rhythm
let blaze for all of time

I evince so much more
when you trust in me

cause you are you are my light
Without you shadows are might
and all my smiles come to sorrows end
cast aloft on a failed wind
without your light
all shall conclude
ablation protrudes
and night falls true
